Bigtank – Acceptable Behaviour Policy (Clients & Visitors)

Effective from: 29/01/2026
Reviewed: Annually

At Bigtank, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive working environment for all our employees, freelancers, and collaborators. As part of this commitment, we expect all clients, their representatives, and any visitors to engage with our team in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

1. Our Expectations

Clients and third parties interacting with Bigtank personnel are expected to:

Communicate respectfully and courteously.
Refrain from any behaviour that could reasonably be seen as intimidating, discriminatory, offensive, or harassing.
Respect personal boundaries and avoid unwelcome conduct of a physical, verbal or non-verbal nature.
Follow any reasonable instructions given by a Bigtank representative related to health, safety, or conduct.

This includes all forms of communication – in person, over the phone, via email, messaging platforms, or during video calls and events.

2. Zero Tolerance for Harassment

We do not tolerate any form of harassment, including but not limited to:

Sexual harassment (e.g. inappropriate comments, unwelcome advances, or sexualised language or behaviour)
Discriminatory conduct related to any protected characteristic (e.g. race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation)

Bullying, aggressive or threatening behaviour

Such behaviour is unacceptable regardless of intent.

3. Action We May Take

If a client or their representative behaves in a way that breaches this policy, Bigtank reserves the right to:

Request that the individual no longer engages directly with our team.
Report the behaviour to the appropriate authority or organisation.
Terminate or suspend services or engagements in line with our Terms & Conditions.

We may also record incidents internally to support our risk assessments and legal obligations under the Employment Rights Act 1996 and subsequent updates.

4. Raising Concerns

If you have any concerns about conduct or wish to raise an issue, please contact clare@bigtank.co.uk as soon as possible.
